Originals and Recordings

This is about us making our own music. Col and I write and record everything in our own Studio. We’ve got endless ideas of our own, but may also re-arrange other peoples songs into our own style, which is Soulful, Funky, and we need a bit of Blues in there too. For the instruments we’ll often start a song thinking Acoustic guitar, Double Bass, Sax, Keys and Drums and take it from there – see where we end up.

A word from Colin...

A long-time friend and fellow composer/musician – Malcolm Buckland – called me after hearing Stacey and I perform saying “you know Stacey could provide that great big bit in the middle that you and I can’t!” By this, he meant writing and performing the main melody, adding backing vocals, and recording the results. Since starting work with her in 2009, she has brought a whole new dimension to my previous work – and we produce material we’re delighted with! See what you think.
